We’re bringing back our Christmas Toy Banks this November

Sharing in the magic of Christmas and bringing people together is what the festive season is all about, and at Lidl, we’re proud to bring this into our stores with the return of our Toy Banks on 1 November, in partnership with Neighbourly.

Through our Toy Banks, shoppers can donate unopened toys and gifts, from stocking fillers to something bigger. We’ll make sure your gift is donated to children in your area through our store partnerships with charities, food banks and community groups.

And to join your efforts, through our Lidl Community Fund, we’re donating £125,000 worth of grants* to our Toy Bank charity partners, so they can purchase food to support people in need this Christmas.

How to donate

  • 1
Step 1 - Find our Toy Bank in store

  • 2

It’s not just for the festive season, we’re proud to support our communities all year round. To us, that means going beyond offering affordable prices every day. That’s why:

In partnership with Neighbourly and other local partners, our stores, warehouses, and offices donate surplus food to thousands of good causes across Great Britain, including throughout the festive season.

We provide £500,000 worth of grants annually to local charities through our Lidl Community Fund, with the sole purpose of tackling hunger.

Our Good to Give signage in store highlights the nutritionally varied food and hygiene products local charities need most, so shoppers drop them off at our donation points.
